Newsletter 031610

Well. Madam President (Tamara) got us off and running, right on time, too!    Her partner (Co-
Pres.) is still in Europe, so she had it all to herself today.  Actually, she did a pretty good job considering she was sans script!
The business part of the meeting went along these lines:
1.       Introduction  of a past scholarship
winner (Robert Luan), who told us a little about his College ventures.
2.       Our CK Family Chair introduced her
fellow CKers  and told us all about their
latest indeavors.
3.      Phuoc gave a report on the upcoming
Conventions for both Key Club and
Circle K.
4.      There was a rousing "thank you" to
Sandra for the St. Pat's dinner last
Sat. nite at her home.
5.      The Foundation is still accepting
            nominations for the upcoming election
at our annual meeting in April.
6.      NOTE:  Bd. Mtg. this coming Thurs.
evening at the Carpenters home @  5:30.
7.      Next RIF distribution will be on May
12th & 13th.
8.      Bettye announced that the So. Berk Sr.
Ctr. is having a fish fry this Fri. nite.
9.      Ed Levitch (past Lt. Gov.) was in attendance today for the 2nd week in
a row!  He appears to be feeling better.
10.  Two (2) important dates:
3/17—Mr. Borden Price's B. Day.
4/4----Someone will be 99 yrs. young!

Today we were honored to have yet another "youth club" take-over.
It was Oakland Tech's turn today.
After a brief description of what

K-Family comradeship on April 16, 17 & 18.
